Payment in full is required on the day that you are seen, by cash, cheque, EFTPOS and credit card. We do have Medicare facilities to put the Medicare rebate back into your account on the day. For private health rebates, you will have to take a receipt to your fund provider.

Psychology Service

(50 min)

Sessions run for 50 minutes, and the cost ranges from $170 to $200 per session. All clinicians at our practice are registered to be able to offer both Medicare rebates (if you have a Doctor’s referral) and Health Fund rebates (if you have Private Insurance).

A Mental Health Care Plan from your GP will entitle you a rebate of $84.80 to $124.50 for 10 sessions a year. Please note that you will not be able to claim the gap with your Private Health Cover if you choose to claim with Medicare. 


 
 

Psychometric Assessment

(IQ & Academic)

Psychometric Assessments normally occur over two 2 hour assessment sessions, using a variety of tests to assist in providing insight into a child's academic and IQ performance.  A Psychometric Assessment includes a comprehensive Psychometric Report. 

Session 1: $550

Session 2: $450

A Mental Health Care Plan from your GP will entitle you to $84.80 rebate per session. Please note that you will not be able to claim the gap with your Private Health Cover if you choose to claim with Medicare. 

 
 

Psychiatric Assessment

(Child & Adolescent)

Initial Psychiatric Assessment sessions are $450.

Follow up sessions range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes, and the fees range between $225 to $350. 

All psychiatric sessions are eligible under the Medicare Rebate Scheme. Please note that there will still be a gap after claiming with Medicare. 


Medico-Legal Reports

Medico-Legal Reports consist of requested reports to schools, the Family Court, Insurance/Compensation claims, and other medical practitioners. 

These reports can cost between $140 to $180 per page. The fee of a report will be discussed with you prior to the commencement of the report.
