Annabel is a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of experience working in mental health, with adolescents and adults, both in private and hospital settings. She started out working with adults experiencing severe mental illness gain functionality in their community; and then assisting refugees and migrants who were experiencing grief, loss and trauma adjust to their way of life here in Australia. In the last 7 years, Annabel is also part of a team at Princess Margaret Hospital, providing assessments and treatment to children and their families experiencing eating disorders.
As a first generation migrant, Annabel also has a special interest with working clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. She can also speak basic Mandarin. When working with Annabel, clients find that she utilises various therapeutic models that cater to individual needs, and a caring and safe reflective space to work through difficulties collaboratively.
